Will grew up in Canton, Connecticut. He began studying Economics at Loyola University Maryland, and after his freshman year, came home looking for a way to make a real impact in a state with some of the highest electric rates in the country.
He found it in solar. Three years and more than 300 kW of installations later, Will founded New England Energy Solutions because America is heading into an energy crunch that most families haven't been warned about: U.S. electricity demand is projected to grow as much as 78% by 2050 — nearly doubling — driven by data centers, AI, and electrification, while new supply struggles to keep pace. When demand races ahead of supply, prices rise, and Connecticut homeowners are already living that reality with some of the highest electric rates in the nation.
Will's answer is to attack the problem from the homeowner's side of the meter. NEES exists to bring cheaper electricity to New England families through every tool available — rooftop solar, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps, efficient lighting and windows, and everything in between — so a home produces more, wastes less, and depends on the grid as little as possible.
Today he leads NEES's growth across New England — building the team, the brand, and the partnerships that are making NEES the region's fastest-growing home energy company. His measuring stick isn't systems sold; it's how much of a family's energy future they control when NEES is done.
